DIY Coffee Soda
Give your next cold coffee an extra-refreshing twist when you make it a coffee soda. This recipe is everything you love about Dunkin' coffee — plus the bubbly tingle of sparkling water and just a splash of citrus.
Ingredients
- 1 Cold K-Cup® pod
- -OR-
- 1 Powdered Coffee Pack
- Sugar or other sweetener, to taste
- (Optional) milk or coffee creamer
- Ice cubes
- 1/3 cup sparkling or soda water
- 1 twist or wedge of orange
- Water
Directions
If using the K-Cup® pod
Step 1: Brew coffee over ice.
BREW coffee over ice in a non-glass tumbler.
Step 2: Add milk, cream or sweetener and more ice.
ADD milk, coffee creamer or sweetener if you like, then add more ice.
Step 3: Top with sparkling water and a squeeze of orange.
TOP with sparkling water and a squeeze or twist of orange. Take it easy and enjoy.
If using the powdered instant coffee packet
Step 1: Pour instant coffee into glass.
POUR the powdered instant cold coffee into a large glass.
Step 2: Add water.
ADD 1 1/4 cups of water and stir until combined.
Step 3: Add milk, cream or sweetener, then add ice.
ADD milk, coffee creamer or sweetener if you like, then add ice.
Step 4: Top with sparkling water and a squeeze of orange.
TOP with sparkling water and a squeeze or twist of orange. Take it easy and enjoy.
